The FIlm is "Dead"
Not good news for all us Halo fans, but the proposed director has said the "Halo Movie is dead".
With the game doing so well we would have expected them to work their sorry butts off to give us a Halo film.
It appears that the critical factor that bought the movie's demise was "creative differences". Blomkamp had a dark vision for the movie, the style was to have:

"degraded, screwed-up looking footage," an aesthetic he planned on pushing "as far as [I could] until the studios kind of threw a noose around me...I wanted it to feel like the most brutal, real version of science fiction in a war environment that you've seen in awhile."

I don’t how anyone can overlook this. Whatever companies have turned down or stopped the production of the halo movie, are idiots. This movie will make so much money its not even funny. Check the net... there are some people who are saying negative stuff about halo... but there are so many halo fans and so many interested people that the sales will go out the roof. I have seen some very bad movies that got bad reviews... so why cant they make a movie for halo... even if it isn’t that good, it will still make allot of money because of all the halo fans there are... halo was one of the top selling games... it went platinum in presales itself... overlooking the production of this movie is the most stupid decision any company could make.

Havn't microsoft/Bungie said that the film is still ago, just not with Universal Studios and Fox?

wtf why wud they stop i mean the game waz a total hit and like well the movie wud make twice as much money as the game... this suckz
